The Dickey County Job Development Authority has launched an Entrepreneur Lab as part of their overall economic and job development strategy. Dickey County, with a population of about 5,300 people, is a small rural county in South Eastern North Dakota.

Dickey County is among a growing number of rural counties in North Dakota partnering with the Rural Ideas Network to help launch new ventures and grow existing businesses. Through a robust set of virtual support services and programs, like the Entrepreneur Lab service, the Rural Ideas Network helps rural communities amplify their local economic development efforts.
