The Alexandria Area Economic Development Commission and Greater Fergus Falls are both vibrant economic development organization that supports business growth in rural Minnesota counties. They were looking for new ways to support their local businesses when they found the Rural Ideas Network and immediately saw the potential!
After learning more about the ways the Rural Ideas Network is creating value for rural communities, each region launched a Business Lab. This service allows them to provide a full set of business support services, including coaching, peer learning roundtables, and panel discussions, all delivered virtually and powered by Rural Ideas Network staff.
