How Lansing Office Works is Cultivating Community

Updated: Aug 12, 2022

When Maryann retired from a job where she traveled quite a bit, she had already experienced coworking spaces in the urban cities she would visit. She had always thought about the idea of bringing a space like that to a rural community. After driving past a building on Main Street in Lansing that had been vacant for seven years, her idea turned into reality when she decided to renovate that very building into a coworking space.

Maryann's vision was to create a space where the community could come together and achieve their goals. She joined the Rural Coworking Accelerator, which provided her with the resources she needed to bring her vision to life.

Check out the video to learn more about Maryann's organization and her experience with the Rural Coworking Accelerator.
