Storytelling vs. Selling

"Once you stop sharing your story, you stop selling." As a former small-business owner in charge of my own marketing, this statement from the conversation between Emily Thompson and Michelle Khouri on the Being Boss podcast, resonated fully with me. As a small-business owner, we are constantly trying to sell our products, but what works for our customers is for us business owners to always be our authentic selves. What works to sell your products or services is the story behind the business, the business owner, and the product.
